I am a firm believer in this. I think everyone should feel their best everyday. But one of the most important days for you to feel like the best version of you is on your wedding day. I want to be there for you and help make your dream look a reality. I have been a wedding hair and makeup artist for 6 years now, but involved with the wedding industry since 2012. I am a licensed cosmetologist, which means I am constantly behind the chair learning new techniques, and I am up to date on sanitation regulations and proper technique. I have learned a lot over the years through classes, fellow makeup artists, being behind the scenes at Bridal shows (my personal fav is Charleston fashion week,) and working with MAC cosmetics as a makeup artist. I am so thankful for all these experiences, because it has brought me to where I am today.
On your wedding day, I'll be there for you and your hair and makeup needs. I operate Weddings by Abbey by myself, but if you have a large wedding party I have some boss babes that I work with on a regular basis. And I think we all make a pretty killer team.
One question I get asked the most is, what's in my makeup kit. I use high end products with a few holy-grail drugstore products thrown in to the mix. I have super sensitive skin, so I make sure everything in my kit works well with a sensitive skin type. But if you have a product that you don't want to go with out, feel free to bring it or let me know what it is. I might even already have it!
